Department of Defense Wide Area Work Flow

The Department of Defense (DoD) Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) is a DoD-wide online receipts and acceptance system designed to eliminate paper from the invoice, receipt and acceptance process in the contracting lifecycle. The WAWF application is secured using public-private key cryptography and digital certificates issued as part of the DoD Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). The DoD WAWF relies on Axway Validation Authority to ensure that expired or revoked digital certificates cannot be used to perform transactions.
